Why managers use it
A dynasty trade calculator that thinks like a league-winner
Most trade tools add up numbers. This one also accounts for roster spots, scoring, league size and draft capital, then tells you in plain words who comes out ahead.
Built for your league
Dynasty or redraft, 1QB or Superflex, 8 to 16 teams, standard to full PPR and TE premium up to +1. Every switch loads values made for that format, so a Superflex quarterback or a premium tight end is priced the way your league trades them.
Consolidation done right
Two good players rarely equal one star. The calculator credits the side that receives the best single asset and shows that adjustment on its own line, next to the raw totals, so you always see where the number comes from.
Every rookie pick
The next three drafts, rounds one to four, with Early, Mid and Late slots. Quick-add chips drop the most traded picks in with one tap, and Advanced settings let you lean optimistic or pessimistic on future picks.
Values that move
Values refresh automatically every 6 hours. Each player card shows a 30-day trend arrow and an injury dot, so you can tell a buy-low window from a falling knife before you send an offer.
Balance any deal
When a trade is lopsided, the calculator lists the players and picks that would close the gap. Tap one and it joins the trade, and the fairness meter updates instantly.
Share it with your league
Copy a link that reopens the exact trade, team names and settings, or download a clean image with the verdict. Your recent trades stay in your browser so you can pick up where you left off.

Methodology
How the trade values are built
Two independent views of value
Every player starts with two numbers. Market values come from real trades made in fantasy leagues, which makes them quick to react to news, depth chart changes and breakouts. Rankings values come from expert consensus dynasty rankings, which move more slowly and smooth out overreactions. Rankings exist for dynasty only, so redraft uses the market.
One consensus number
The default Consensus view averages the two. When a player appears in only one source, the missing side is estimated from how other players at the same position compare across both sources, with a small discount for the uncertainty. Each format is then rescaled so its most valuable asset is worth 10,000, which keeps totals readable.
Your settings change the inputs
League size, PPR and TE premium are not a coat of paint on top of one list. Market values are pulled for your exact combination. Rankings values are adjusted for scoring, tight end premium and league depth: deeper leagues flatten the curve, shallow leagues reward the very top. Picks follow the same scale.
Picks, trends and injuries
Rookie picks are priced by year, round and slot. A pick without a known slot is treated as a mid-round pick, and drafts further out are discounted. The 30-day trend comes from market movement, and injury dots show the latest reported status. Everything refreshes automatically every 6 hours.
A calculator frames the trade; it does not know your roster. If you are contending, a slight overpay for a starter can be the right move. If you are rebuilding, young players and early picks usually matter more than this season’s points. Use the verdict as the starting point for the conversation with your leaguemate, not the end of it.
FAQ
Dynasty trade calculator FAQ
What is a dynasty trade calculator?
A dynasty trade calculator puts every player and rookie draft pick on one value scale so you can compare both sides of a trade. Add what each team receives and it shows the totals, who wins and by how much, and what would even the deal out.
How often are the trade values updated?
Values refresh automatically every 6 hours. The badge in the header and above the result shows exactly when the data was last updated.
Does it work for Superflex and TE premium leagues?
Yes. Switch between 1QB and Superflex, choose 8 to 16 teams, set PPR to 0, 0.5 or 1, and add a TE premium of +0.5 or +1. Each setting loads values built for that format rather than applying one flat multiplier.
How are rookie draft picks valued?
Picks for the next three drafts are listed for rounds one to four, split into Early, Mid and Late. A plain "1st" or "2nd" is priced as a mid-round pick, and later drafts are discounted. You can raise or lower all pick values, or the discount per year, under Advanced.
Why does a 2-for-1 trade show a consolidation adjustment?
Roster spots and starting slots are limited, so one elite player is usually worth more than two lesser players with the same combined value. The calculator credits the side receiving the best single asset and shows that credit on its own line, so you can see the raw totals too. You can change its strength under Advanced.
What is the difference between Consensus, Market and Rankings values?
Market values come from real trades made in fantasy leagues and react quickest to news. Rankings values come from expert consensus rankings and are available for dynasty only. Consensus averages the two and is the most stable choice for most trades.
Can I share a trade with my league?
Yes. Copy link saves both sides, your team names and your league settings in the URL, and Download image creates a branded picture of the trade with the verdict that you can post in your league chat.
Is the dynasty trade calculator free?
Yes. It is free to use with no sign-up and no limits. Your recent trades and settings are saved only in your own browser.
